The country’s premiere cannabis conference and expo, O’Cannabiz has come to a close. Bulldog Fire and Security had a great time at this year’s event, and we made so many great contacts from a variety of industries!
Micro-Cultivation
One of the biggest changes that we saw from last year’s show was the explosion in the number of micro-cultivators attending the show. Micro-Cultivation facilities are smaller (approximately 2100 square ft) indoor or outdoor spaces that specialize in small, craft cultivation.
A licenced micro cultivation facility is permitted to grow and distribute to a licenced third party, and allows for the direct sale to provincial distributors, or directly to medical patients who hold a medical document provided by a health care practitioner.
Micro cultivation facilities have unique security needs, and we’re looking forward to working with this growing sector of the cannabis market.
