To our valued customers,

Over the past months, we have been carefully watching the progress of the COVID-19 virus and closely adhering to the advice of Canada’s Public Health Officials.  We have followed many of their recommendations and implemented a number of changes in our offices to protect the health and safety of our employees, customers, and those we come in contact with every day.

As the virus continues to spread across Canada, and with the recent announcements by Prime Minister Trudeau and Premier Ford, we will be taking additional steps to help reduce transmission.

We are writing to personally inform you that Fire Monitoring of Canada Inc. and Bulldog Fire and Security will be making modifications to our services, effective immediately.

Our purpose has always been to help people feel safe and secure.  There is no better moment than now to exemplify this purpose.  The reduction of our services will help further limit the spread of this virus and protect the most vulnerable in our communities.

What We Are Doing

The following steps will help to keep our staff safe, while recognizing that we fulfill an important role in the life safety community.  We will be taking the following actions:

  • Our Signals Receiving Centre (SRC) will operate as normal.  When not on shift, all SRC staff are required to self isolate.  All non-essential staff will have no access to the SRC.
  • All non-essential office, sales, and management staff shall refrain from coming to the office, and where possible, work from home.
  • Bulldog and FMC Service Technicians will continue to operate as normal for the time being.  All service calls will be prioritized based on level of urgency and access availability.
  • All essential installation work will continue, and will be scheduled depending on availability and the ability to access to the facility.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and keep you posted as more information becomes available.  We look forward to operating at full capacity again soon, and continuing to serve our customers to our utmost ability.

Be safe, and take care of yourself and your loved ones,

Kevin Allison – H. Bsc., CSP, MBA

President
